What is JUVGEN

What is JUVGEN autologous dermal regeneration?

JUVGEN is an autologous dermal regeneration treatment that alternately injects carbon dioxide (CO₂) gas and hyaluronic acid (HA) into the dermis to create an environment in which the skin regenerates itself. Rather than filling volume with external material, it uses the skin's own regenerative process, so changes appear gradually over time.

Precise injectionA micro automatic injection system delivers it into the dermis in divided doses of 0.001cc.
Regenerative environmentCO₂ gas helps tissue oxygen supply and microcirculation, while hyaluronic acid creates a moist environment that helps cell activity.
Collagen regenerationFibroblasts are activated and collagen regeneration is stimulated, so the damaged skin structure gradually recovers.

What kind of treatment is JUVGEN?

JUVGEN is an autologous dermal regeneration treatment that alternately injects carbon dioxide (CO₂) gas and hyaluronic acid (HA) into the dermis to help the skin regenerate itself. It works by separating tissue that has become stuck together beneath the skin (adhesions) and stimulating collagen production in the space this creates.

How is it different from fillers?

Fillers make up for lost volume by injecting material into hollow areas, while JUVGEN stimulates collagen production in the space created by releasing adhesions. Both can use hyaluronic acid, but their purposes differ, so the method is chosen after examining adhesions, the surrounding volume and the shape of the wrinkle.

Which wrinkles and scars is it used for?

It is considered for frown lines, forehead lines, nasolabial folds, marionette lines, neck lines, crow's feet, bunny lines and the mid-cheek line (Indian band), as well as round, wide depressed acne scars (rolling scars) and chickenpox scars. The same approach does not suit every wrinkle or scar, so the decision is made after checking its shape, depth and any adhesions beneath the skin.

How long does it take, how many sessions are needed, and what is recovery like?

It is a non-surgical treatment using a special syringe and takes about 10–20 minutes; thanks to a specially made micro-needle, discomfort is mild enough that anesthesia is not needed. It is done in one session, though for scars this may vary with their condition, and you can wash your face and wear makeup from 2 days after the treatment.
